TRANSFERS/EXCHANGES

Existing tenants of each partner landlord can apply to transfer to another property for a variety of reasons and we will process these applications in the same way as new housing applications. Priority will be given to transfer applicants who require to move for medical, overcrowding, relationship breakdown or access to employment reasons.

The Association will also consider requests for exchanges between its own tenants and the tenants of other housing providers and will not unreasonably withhold consent for these. This can be done through advertising in the local press, shops etc or by using the HomeSwapper website on www.homeswapper.co.uk.
