The Association has an ongoing Development programme and is committed to providing affordable accommodation.

When a vacancy arises, a suitable allocation will be made to an applicant on the Highland Housing Register in accordance with our Allocations Policy. If you are not on the Highland Housing Register, you will not be eligible to be allocated a property.
Current Developments
We have recently completed projects at Campbell's Farm, Phase 5 Broadford, 12 properties for low cost home ownership, of which comprised 4 New Supply Shared Equity units, 12 properties for affordable rent at Armadale and 2 houses for affordable rent at Raasay Deer Park in partnership with Raasay Devleopment Trust and Communities Housing Trust.
We have commenced work on site in Glenelg, comprising 4 properties for affordable rent.
In early 2022 we handed over Staffin - 2 houses for affordable rent for LSHA, 2 for rent via the Rural Housing Fund for Staffin Community Trust and 2 Rent to Buy properties for the Community Housing Trust. We are very proud to announce that this project has won the 2022 Scottish Home Awards (Community Contribution category), the 2022 Scottish Housing Awards (Excellence in Regeneration and Sustainability) and the 2021/2022 Highlands and Islands Architectural Association' Awards (Best Project).
Future Proposed Developments (subject to planning consent and tender approval) are:-

14 houses for affordable rent at Home Farm, Phase 8, Portree
16 houses for affordable rent/low cost home ownership in Dunvegan
6 houses for affordable rent on Raasay
