Do you have a disability, or are you aged over 65 and have difficulty with small repairs around the house?
The Handyperson Service may be able to help. The Handyperson Service is a free service aimed at helping elderly and disabled people with minor repairs and tasks around the home.
Each Handyperson is fully equipped with tools and we will only charge you for the materials the Handyperson uses to complete the agreed work.
The Handyperson Service can also arrange for aids and adaptations, and Telehealthcare (please click here for further information on Highland Telecare).

We are delighted to announce that we were part of three regional Care & Repair/Handyperson services to share a funding award over a three year period to provide customised support services for people affected by dementia. Our Handypersons are approved to carry out a home check to see if there are any works that can be done straight away to make your home safer. We are also working with NHS Highland’s Technology Enabled Care Service to encourage the use of technology to support people to live at home safely and independently for as long as possible.
